RM Auctions, the world's largest collector car auction house, returns to California's Monterey Peninsula, August 13th - 14th for its annual, highly anticipated Sports & Classics of Monterey event. Now in its 25th year, the event was the first and original auction held during the now famous Monterey Classic Car Week, and each year brings the world's finest motor cars together with its most discerning collectors. This year's event, held at the Portola Hotel & Spa and Monterey Convention Center, will continue the momentum offering an unparalleled line-up of significant, historic and exotic cars of exceptional quality.
In total, some 200 investment-quality motor cars are slated for the block, including no less than a dozen cars estimated to fetch more than $1,000,000. Highlights include the wildly extravagant 1949 Delahaye 175 S Saoutchik Roadster, and a stunning 1938 Talbot-Lago T150-C Lago Speciale Teardrop Coupe with coachwork by Figoni et Falaschi. Other select million-dollar entries include a 1971 Ferrari 365 GTB/4 Daytona Spyder, a 1964 Shelby Cobra USRRC Team Car, and a 1933 Duesenberg Model SJ Brunn Riviera Phaeton. PREVIEW DATES:
