From its origins in the south, barbecue has grown into a national phenomenon. This year's conference theme, BBQ Coast to Coast, Bold Flavors and Bright Ideas, was developed with that in mind. Holding this event on the west coast for the first time is the perfect opportunity to showcase barbecue's influence across the country, from the traditional favorites to California's own Santa Maria style, and all points in between.
