Food & Wine Event
Chocoholics everywhere unite for this wickedly delicious event! The Chocolate Winterfest is devoted to all things chocolate, and the quirky festival is sure to treat, inform, astound and amuse visitors. All ages can enjoy this day of indulgence and participate in eating, sculpting, decorating, drinking and even face painting with chocolate!
As part of Winterfest, you also need to check out The Dark Side of the Brew. The event celebrates the best of Tasmania's microbreweries, who have joined together to offer tastings of their best dark beers, whiskies and ciders. This year, visitors can take part in chocolate matching sessions and beer education workshops, and meet the dedicated makers behind the mouth-watering, locally-brewed beverages. The Dark Side of the Brew is the first event of its kind in Australia, and is set to attract devoted dark brew fans from around the nation.
