This year's program offers unrivalled access to great wines and the most knowledgeable presenters including Vintages product consultants, media personalities and wine experts. The Expo features many one-of-a-kind opportunities to taste rare vintages and undiscovered gems. New additions to the lineup include a tasting of top wines from the prestigious InterVin International Wine Awards presented by head judge Christopher Waters and other notable members of the judging panel. The agenda also includes star presenters such as Thirsty Traveler Kevin Brauch's freewheeling and fun survey of the world's best wines and spirits and celebrity wine writer Billy Munnelly's joyously entertaining session featuring fabulous fizz (sparkling wines) from Champagne and other effervescent regions. Other returning favourites include John Szabo and Zoltan Szabo's tasting of cutting-edge wines from around the world and Toronto Star wine writer Gord Stimmell's insider's guide to the best buys at the LCBO. As always, these sessions are sure to sell out quickly. Not to be overlooked on Sunday are two premium tastings of legendary and cult wines from Bordeaux and other illustrious wine regions. The Bordeaux Spotlight and Best of the Best sessions provide the opportunity to taste a collection of wines difficult to find anywhere else in the country. Each Tutored Tastings ticket purchased includes a complimentary $15 General Admission ticket into the Gourmet Food & Wine Expo and a one-year subscription to VINES Magazine.
