The sixth edition of the Bologna Jazz Festival - the hottest event of the autumn Italian jazz - will feature ten days of concerts in theaters and jazz clubs of Bologna, Ferrara, Minehead and Vignola.

This year's event takes place at the Celebration Theatre in Bologna, the most famous concert of the jazz vocal quartet: The Manhattan Transfer.

Europauditorium of Bologna, the most anticipated event of this edition: Pat Metheny Trio. Unquestionably the most famous jazz guitarist Pat Metheny is accompanied by Larry Grenadier on bass and Bill Stewart on drums: a formation that had not met for over ten years.

Bologna's Teatro delle Celebrazioni is one of the main stages for the Bologna Jazz Festival, offering 100 hours of fine music each year since 1938. Along with concerts, art exhibitions take place in jazz clubs around Bologna and nearby towns.
