Every year the province of Madrid hosts the Festival de Oto?o (Autumn Festival). The eclectic programme sees music, theatre, dance and circus events laid on throughout the capital and its environs. Having broken with convention in 2010, changing its usual November date to May, the event once again takes place in spring this year. Visitors still have a packed schedule of shows performed by both Spanish and international acts. The programme features productions of A Comdey of Errors and Richard III by the Propeller Theatre Company and live performances from Laurie Anderson and Philip Glass with Tim Fain.
