The Charleston Comedy Festival's stand up competition has been wicked popular the last few years, packing the Music Farm with fans of the funny as aspiring comedians try their best/worst material. Last year, comedians came from all over the region to compete. The top vote-getters from each show will move on to the finals. The annual Charleston Comedy Festival brings four nights of laughter to city venues including Theatre 99, the American Theater and the Charleston Ballet Theatre. Stand-up, improvisation and sketch-based acts from all over America make-up the programme.
