Visit Faneuil Hall Marketplace for a day full of holiday entertainment, delicious food and shopping! This event will include a special appearance by Santa. Plus, Carolling, A Cappella Groups, Dance Troupes, and more on the Community Stage.

5:00pm: Help the Mayor with the big countdown to the giant light switch that will be flipped to illuminate over 300,000 lights that drape the buildings and trees of Faneuil Hall Marketplace!

The tree at Faneuil Hall towers over 75ft and weighs in over 6 tons. This Norwegian Spruce almost 70 years old and was grown in Rockland County, New York. The tree is transported, installed and decorated by Egan Acres Tree Farm and will be decorated with over 20,000 white lights and 1,500 ornaments & will take over 7 days to install.
