Paris International Showjumping Competition

The Salon du Cheval de Paris is pleased to welcome you to the Paris Nord Villepinte Exhibition Centre for the first time for more horses, more shows, more entertainment and more comfort. On schedule for the 2nd week-end of the show from the 10th to the 13th of December, is the GUCCI Masters, CSI 5. Welcoming three levels of international classes:
The TOP 40 classes which bring together the CSI 5* riders including the prestigious participants of the Rolex IJRC Top 10*.

The MASTERS which will allow riders who are not part of the TOP 40 to compete in high level conditions.

Amateur classes specifically for amateur riders who want to spoil themselves by performing their leisure activities surrounded by the best riders in the world, in a sporting, festive and luxurious setting. The 5 and 6 December, come and see the best vaulters in the world: World champions, European Champion and national champions who will present you during 2 hours a show breathtakingly. Sport, grace, beauty, and show will be the key words of this competition. This equestrian version of a beauty contest will take place during the first weekend of the show from 4 to 6 December. It will allow visitors to discover the most beautiful thoroughbred Arabian horses in the world. One hundred or so horses will participate in this championship which is unique in the world, and will bring together the most distinguished, coveted and the most expensive specimens of the breed. Seven international judges will have the difficult task of judging the esthetics, elegance and the grace of the features of these horses of the desert which will come from twelve or so countries.
In 2008, the following countries were present: Saudi Arabia, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, Egypt, Morocco, Australia, Switzerland, Belgium, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom and France.
