Cotillard wins best actress Oscar

Marion Cotillard won the Oscar best actress in Los Angeles Sunday for her portrayal of iconic French singer Edith Piaf in La Vie En Rose.

Cotillard beat out Cate Blanchett, Julie Christie, Laura Linney and Ellen Page for the honor.

La Vie En Rose also earned an Oscar for makeup Sunday.
