Iggy Pop joins voice cast of 'Lil' Bush'
U.S. rock icon Iggy Pop has joined the voice cast of the animated TV political satire Lil' Bush: Resident of The United States
for the show's second season.
The uncensored first season of Comedy Central's irreverent cartoon about child versions of well-known political figures, including President George W. Bush, is set for DVD release March 11.
The DVD will feature special audio commentary by Jerry Springer, Ralph Nader and Tucker Carlson.
Season 2 of the series is scheduled to premiere March 13.
Iggy Pop, best known for his band, Iggy and the Stooges, has joined the cast as the voice of Lil' Bush's confidant, Lil' Rummy,
a character Comedy Central describes as a classic schoolyard bully with a few charming psychopathic quirks.
Pop will be joined in later episodes by guest voices such as Dave Grohl from the Foo Fighters, Frank Black from the Pixies, Jeff Tweedy from Wilco and the Red Hot Chili Peppers as themselves.
