More than 500 pairs of panties pilfered

More than 500 pairs of pink panties were stolen from the Victoria's Secret outlet at the Treasure Coast Square mall in Jensen Beach, Fla.

A Martin County sheriff's report said the lingerie was worth up to $5,000. Dozens of shorts and tank top sets were taken, as well, The Palm Beach (Fla.) Post reported Monday.

Most of the items were on a special display that featured pink items.

The Hollister store at the same mall also was targeted, reporting 19 stacks of clothing worth more than $4,600 stolen.
