A New Dining Hot Spot Hits Miami With Farm-to-Table & Modern American Fare

Ever since Acqualina opened its new AQ restaurant this past April, it has been drawing rave reviews right and left. From the mind of Chef Dewey LoSasso, AQ features contemporary American cuisine in a massive space with vaulted ceilings that make the restaurant feel almost more like a lobby entrance than a dining room. Featuring muted yellow tones and marble countertops, the main room feels warm and welcoming, despite its size. An outside area (a must in Miami of course) is centered around a decorative pool with soft lighting at night and plush red seating.

After being open for little more than a month, AQ by Acqualina is receiving praise from critics and visitors alike for farm-to-table Modern American cuisine. With dishes like cured snapper croquettas, crispy olives and sliced prosciutto, grilled skirt steak, pan-seared black grouper and a featured sushi and sashimi bar, the menu is rich with fusions of Latin, Asian and Mediterranean flavors.

Perfect for socializing, the bar’s refreshing crafted cocktails range from classic staples to wildly imaginative, and can be enjoyed under the romantic lights of the outdoor veranda. The extensive wine list features varietals from the world's top winemaking countries like Italy, France, Greece and the United States among others. And, each choice was hand selected to perfectly pair with one or more of Chef LoSasso's menu items.

With exquisitely prepared dishes accompanied by a seriously substantial beverage menu, it's easy to see why AQ by Acqualina is so quickly making waves among travelers and locals in Miami Beach.
