CEO Expeditions: Land of the Midnight Sun

Luxury Yacht Charters: It may be summer in your neck of the woods, but for those who have adapted to an arctic lifestyle, summer just means more glaciers. Sure your passport may have stamps from Europe to Timbuktu, but the thought of discovering the Alaskan Arctic Circle never quite did escape you. Admit it. Hearing the accounts of those who have spent the summer working on an Alaskan sea vessel makes you regret never having experienced something of that scale.

CEO Expeditions allows such thrill-seekers an opportunity to experience the arctic without having to throw nets or gut salmon. Expand your horizons and venture through Alaska's Inside Passage and see why it is considered to be among the world's most breathtaking scenery. With two new yachts in its fleet, the Katania and the Kayana, CEO Expeditions provides unparalleled service and unforgettable memories.

Cruising through the waters of the Pacific Northwest and Alaska, the Katania is a superior ocean expedition vessel. With its 1,000 horsepower engines, the Katania glides smoothly over Alaska's ripping tides and river currents. This classic Burger ship was built as one of America's first aluminum superyachts. The boat's interior has been completely upgraded and features a sun room, a swim area, a hot tub, a full-width master suite, and double staterooms, complete with a double bed and a Pullman for extra guests.

Katania's sister ship, the Kayana has undergone nearly a years worth of renovations. The major overhauls include the addition of a third deck; a media lounge; a skylounge; and a leisure room that is perfect for doing yoga. What was once a four-bedroom vessel now features six bedrooms, one of which is equipped with French doors that open into its own deck. Each beautifully appointed stateroom is furnished with its own entertainment system and satellite television.

Originally designed and constructed by some of Europe's finest, the Kayana proves to be built to last and can cross the Atlantic on her own hull. Kayana is scheduled to cut through the waters of Southeast Alaska during the expedition's eighth season of charter.

The option of customizing your own itinerary, and appointing a private crew, make either excursion a promising choice. CEO Expeditions is also happy to assist you by providing their suggested route, which highlights Alaska's rich history and Native traditions.

From the fresh water glaciers and the snow-capped mountains to the deep fjords and flourishing wildlife, possibilities are endless in Alaska. Days can be spent cruising along whale migration routes and catching glimpses of curious sea lions, discovering Alaskan communities and Glacier Bay National Park, or simply enjoying the majestic flight of the bald eagle as he sours across a horizon of Northern Lights.

In addition to Alaskan charters, CEO Expeditions offer destination getaways to Costa Rica, Mexico, the Caribbean and Bahamas, and the San Juan Islands. This summer, satisfy your need for the extreme while relaxing on the deck of a luxury yacht. Who says you can't have it all? It's a big world out there. Go explore it.
