MUSEUM DESCRIPTION:
Take a journey of discovery through the world's largest ocean at the Aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach, California. Meet more than 12,500 animals as you explore sunny Southern California and Baja, the frigid waters of the North Pacific, and the colorful reefs of the Tropical Pacific.
Come face-to-face with, and even touch, the ocean's ultimate predators in Shark Lagoon. Hand feed lorikeet birds. Join us on a Behind-the-Scenes tour. Enjoy Monsters of the Abyss, a film that combines stunning state-of-the-art 3-D technology and digital animation to explore the deep ocean. There is no better time to visit the Aquarium of the Pacific than now.
Hours:
From 9 am to 6 pm daily, except December 25 and during the weekend of the Grand Prix of Long Beach (April 13-15, 2007).
Admission:
You may purchase Aquarium tickets upon your arrival at our ticket windows in front of the Aquarium. You may also call (562) 590-3100, but if you purchase tickets online now, you will save $2.00 per ticket! The Aquarium accepts Visa, MasterCard, and American Express. Aquarium admission includes all the galleries, hands-on labs, and presentations as noted on the daily handout.

Ocean Experience:
