Lincart opened in August of 2000 at their former location on One Otis Street, with an exhibition of paintings by Yuki Ogasawara. Since then, the gallery has relocated to Market Street and has presented more than 50 exhibitions, mostly solo shows.
Some of our highlight projects have included Yayoi Kusama, Graham Gillmore, Tucker Nichols, Pip Culbert and Zack Davis. Once a year, a group show puts new local and international talent on deck. Owners Alexandra Fouladi and Charles Linder describe the gallery as ..." a unique fiscal collaboration involving the making, displaying, buying and selling of fine art. "
Lincart is a venue for contemporary fine art, design and lifestyle branding. At Lincart, we feel strongly that lifestyle is the most important component of an artist's oeuvre. Our aim is not just to sell you a picture : we want you to feel part of our artist's most intimate scenes. We want you to buy their future, literally ; A total art experience is what we offer our clients, free of charge.
We feel that collecting art is a learned passion which reflects a collector's enthusiasm for getting to know the artists. Lincart offers an elegant, yet informal environment where visitors may view a variety of new artwork and interact directly with the makers of the work.
