MUSEUM DESCRIPTION:
With its emphasis on interactive hands-on learning, the Canadian Children's Museum seeks to enrich children's lives, broaden their cultural experience and provide them with a creative space in which to learn about the world.
The Children's Museum has a strong commitment to learning by discovery and places a strong emphasis on imagination and role playing. Hands-on activities and programmes use real materials from the Museum's collection. Children can touch the exhibits and discover the world around them in a safe, fun environment. To enhance a child's learning experience, we strongly encourage adult participation.
The Children's Museum is a place for children to learn, share, experience and create. It provides unique opportunities for children up to 14 years of age, as well as their families, schools, and community groups. |
