Here is one for the fast, the furious, and the curious from Nissan.
While an automobile that is capable of accelerating from zero to 60 mph in just 2.7 seconds is extraordinarily fast, it apparently is not good enough muscle for the 2015 version of the Nissan GT-R NISMO.
Motor Authority is reporting that the next version of this speed machine will do zero to 60 mph in 2 seconds. The vehicle will make an appearance at the upcoming 2013 Tokyo Motor Show in November. If this information is true, this will be the quickest-accelerating production car ever released.
Auto Express originally reported the information, and it is reported to have originated from a Nissan insider, according to Motor Authority. Additionally, the car will be delivered in showrooms next spring.
….Helping with the car’s development is none other than the Williams F1 Team, well, the team’s technology offshoot, Williams Advanced Engineering, to be more accurate. One Williams engineer also revealed to the British magazine that the GT-R still has a lot of tuning potential.
