After months of hype around his run for the presidency, Donald Trump has opted out. "After considerable deliberation and reflection, I have decided not to pursue the office of the presidency," Trump stated. Trump is still assured that, had he completed his bid for the ticket, he would have won the primary and the general election, which just fuels the belief that the real estate mogul is arrogant above all.
The decision to run is not a new one for Trump. For the last 20 years Trump has been toying with the idea of running for office. Trump stated he is not ready to leave the private sector, as business is his passion. The decision not to complete his run comes after his growing popularity numbers took a dive. Trump was one of the biggest proponents in the belief that Obama was not a US Citizen and that President Obama was soft on national security. Both of these ideas were recently laid to rest, with the release of President Obamaís long form birth certificate and the killing of Osama bin Laden.
Though he has decided to put his run for the highest seat on the board on hold, Trump promises that he will "continue to voice my opinions loudly."
