Amazon, the world’s largest e-retailer, is hopeful that it will attract fashion houses worldwide to its new studio.
With the ever-growing popularity of its fashion group, the firm wants to lure the entire fashion industry to use its newly opened 40,000-square-foot studio in Williamsburg, New York, a community near Brooklyn, the Mercury News reports.
The massive production facility has 26 photo and video bays. It is reported to be capable of producing an all-encompassing fashion shoot for a line in one day or less.
…. The studio is the centerpiece of Amazon's bid to become the go-to stop for Web shoppers looking to fill their wardrobe. And Amazon is betting that its huge studio investment -- the company wouldn't disclose the cost--will give it an advantage over brick-and-mortar retailers.
