Apple Is Most Valuable Brand, Ending Coca-Cola's 13-Year Reign as #1

Apple is the new number-one brand onInterbrand’s Best Global Brands 2013 report.

The high-tech company took the top spot from Coca-Cola, which is now third. Google jumped to second place from fourth. IBM and Microsoft finished fourth and fifth, respectively. The brand value of Apple and Google increased significantly, as Apple experienced a 28% increase, and Google increased by 34%.

Louis Vuitton (17), Gucci (38), and Hermes (54) are the three most valuable luxury brands in the 2013 report. Mercedes-Benz (11) BMW (12), and Audi (51) are the highest rated luxury-car brands this year. Porsche and Ferrari came in at #64 and #98, respectively. 

Cartier (60), Prada (72), Tiffany & Co. (75), Burberry (77), Ralph Lauren (88), and Moet et Chandon (99) also made the top 100
