Major-league shopper Gio Gonzalez, a pitcher for the Washington Nationals baseball team, shared his good fortunes with his family most generously to say the least.
The Washington Post reports that the pitcher held nothing back in doling out some great gifts to members of his family.
In the auto zone, he purchased a Rolls-Royce and a Bentley for his mother and father, respectively, and a Lamborghini for his brother. His brother also was given a boat. During the elaborately fantastical shopping spree, Gonzalez also picked up a new house and a Lamborghini for himself.
Just a bit outside: Now the generous, millionaire athlete jokes that he is broke.
