Cadillac CTS -- Consumer Reports Best Luxury Sedan for Money

The Cadillac CTS has been rated the Best New-Car Value for luxury sedans in 2013 by Consumer Reports magazine.

The ratings of the new vehicles are based on cost per mile and total test score. The Cadillac CTS came in first with a with a $1.05 cost per mile driven and a total test score of 84 points. The Mercedes-Benz E-350 finished in second place with a$1.07 cost per mile driven and a total score of 89 points. The Cadillac’s base price is $50,995; the Mercedes-Benz is priced at $57,525.

In the large-luxury SUV category, the Lexus RX 350 and the Lexus Rx 450h took the top two spots. The RX 350 cost $0.93 per mile to drive with a total test score of 79; the RX 450h cost $0.98 per mile to drive with a total test score of 88 points.
