Passengers on flights by Delta Airlines will have a bird’s eye view of exactly where they are flying with a glass-bottom Jet setting in its new Fly Delta app for iPads per a report from Mashable.
The new iPad app adds value to its customers’ in- and post-flight experience. It provides details on destinations and other valuable information to enable passengers to arrive with a detailed plan in hand if desired. The app also calls out cities and landmarks as well as posting messages on social networks.
In a press release explaining the app, Delta notes that Fly Delta for iPad is part of a $140 million technology investment in the company. Delta currently has more than 800 planes equipped with wi-fi.
