Ever since her days on the campaign trail sporting fashionable looks from Banana Republic, First Lady, Michelle Obama, has been setting fashion trends for every occasion. Showing off her beauty and fashion sense, First Lady Obama wore a stunning white Tom Ford dress with a criss-cross halter front and dangling earrings complete with white opera gloves, to the state dinner hosted by Queen Elizabeth II. Tom Ford is an American designer, who makes his life half of the year in England.
Complementing the Queen’s white dress, this isn’t the first time the heads of state have shown complementing styles. Upon her arrival, First Lady Obama was wearing a light blue floral dress, which the queen was also wearing. Kate Betts, author of "Everyday Icon: Michelle Obama and the Power of Style" said, "She looks so pretty. The dress is so English. In my opinion, she rarely makes a mistake, and today is no different."
