Google informed Luke Wroblewski that he has the dubious honor of being the first owner of Google Glass to report the high-tech device as missing, Venture Beat reports. He conveyed that he lost it at an airport.
Mr. Wroblewski told VB’s Ricardo Bilton that it slipped out of his bag as he went through security. Fortunately, GG can be wiped clean remotely. So, while it is gone, whatever was stored on his unit remains confidential.
Apparently, the loser (sorry, Luke) plans to purchase another one, but indicated that he would secure it in a zippered pocket next time.
So does Wroblewski consider it an honor being the first person to lose the $1,500 specs? “Not at all,” he says. “But I’m getting the word out in case it helps me get them back.”
