French architect Edouard Francois would like to build a skyscraper covered with trees and potted plants in Dubai. The project dubbed the “Flower Tower” would be the first skyscraper to have greenery on its façade, reports ArabianBusiness.com.
The green-centric building would be the second of its kind by Mr. Francois, as he previously designed a nine-story apartment building in Paris. Although no information has been issued on the size of the building, it is probably safe to assume that it will be a grandiose, over-the-top structure … because that is how Dubai rolls.
The idea will be presented in the UAE for the first time by Italian company Teracrea at the Outdoor Design Build & Supply Show at the Dubai World Trade Centre March 25-27th.
