Google in the news again? This just in from Paris!
The Economic Times reports that Google has reached a licensing agreement with European music publishers. The deal between Google and the music publisher,Armonia,gives Google access to 5.5 million musical works in 35 countries.
[Catherine Kerr-Vignale of France' SACEM] added that the royalty for publishers and artists was in line with industry standards involving Google rivals like Amazon and Apple's iTunes. She declined to specify.
