Henrik Fisker announced Wednesday that he is leaving Fisker Automotive, reports Yahoo’s Motoramic.
The co-founder and designer of the eponymously named automaker cited “several major disagreements” with company management instigated the surprising exodus.
It also was reported that the fledgling firm is seeking a buyer to put its house in order. No Fisker Karmas have been produced since July.
Meanwhile, the company still owes the U.S. government nearly $200 million, and members of Congress have already expressed worry that a Chinese firm could pick up taxpayer-sponsored tech on the cheap.
