Expect the looks of motorcycle helmets to change radically next year when the new 6D helmets are expected to hit the market.  Looks aside, it is the helmet’s safety features that piqued our curiosity.  However, it is rather stylish in a techie sort of way, isn’t it?

Twenty-seven hourglass-shaped dampers, each comprised of two circular cups on either side of a rubber core, are positioned around the helmet and designed to provide a cushioning barrier against low speed impacts.
