Actress Kate Winslet, or the new Mrs. RocknRoll, received a ticket to ride on a Virgin Galactic flight to space from her new uncle-in-law, Sir Richard Branson. The ticket is redeemable for a two-hour suborbital flight 60 miles above Earth.
The Telegraph reported that Virgin is hopeful to offer flights as earlier as next year, according to Kate's new hubby, Ned RocknRoll. Mr. RocknRoll works part-time at his uncle’s commercial spaceflight firm, Virgin Galactic. Ned's job title was not specified.
More than 530 people have already bought a £124,000 ticket including comedian Russell Brand, actor Ashton Kutcher and science genius Stephen Hawking who also received a free ride courtesy of Branson.
