Sports collectibles of Kobe Bryant that his mother, Pamela Bryant, originally gave to the auctioneer sold for $433,531 at auction.
Six items owned by Kobe Bryant were available during the month-long online auction held by Goldin Auctions. Bryant filed suit against the auctioneer to stop the auction, claiming his mother did not have the right to give the items away.
Additionally, Goldin Auctions filed a suit seeking a refund of the money it advanced to Pamela Bryant to sell the items.
A 2000 Lakers championship ring gifted by Bryant to his father, Joe, sold for $174,184. A ring given to his mother, Pamela, from the same championship season went for $108,153.
