Australian-automotive-news site Car and Advice is reporting that luxury automobile brands Land Rover and Jaguar recalled more than 5,000 automobiles in Australia.
The recall includes 2,995 Range Rover Evoque and 1,485 Freelander 2 SUV models. The same fuel-leak issue also put 641 Jaguar XF sedans on notice as well.
A problem with thecharge air cooler hose has an additional 124 Jaguar XF sedans heading back to the factory for further review. The model years of the recalled cars are the 2012-2013 for Land Rover and the 2013-2014 for Jaguar.
A Jaguar spokesperson confirmed there have been no reports of either defect from Jaguar or Land Rover owners in Australia.
