Basketball player LeBron James and Audemars Piguet showed off the watch they mutually designed on Monday in a report from CNBC.
Six hundred of the Mr. James-designed wristwatches, which were named the Royal Oak Offshore Chronograph, hit the market at the end of September.
The watch featuresblack-ceramic and diamond-set push pieces, a hand-stitched gray crocodile strap, and an 18-karat pink gold case. The actual price of the wristwatch is $51,500. James’ signature appears in blue on the sapphire crystal in the back of the wristwatch.
….The Swiss watchmaker has a long history of working with athletes and has had partnerships with everyone from basketball legend Shaquille O'Neal to PGA golfer Keegan Bradley.
