Actor Liam Neeson has joined the ranks of the highest paid actors in Hollywood, Yahoo! reports.
Neeson will be paid $20 million to star in Taken 3, reprising his role of Bryan Williams, a former CIA operative and loving father, in the third installment of the Taken franchise.
Being a member of the $20-million club is an indicator that films featuring these stars do tremendously well in box-office receipts. However, membership also is fleeting, as it usually lasts as long as an actor’s streak of moneymaking movies remains intact.
Members of the club have included Neeson's ex-lover Julia Roberts, Tom Cruise, Leonardo DiCaprio, Angelina Jolie, Reese Witherspoon, Tom Hanks, Jim Carrey, and Mel Gibson. Stars like Kristen Stewart, Brad Pitt, Robert Downey Jr., and Johnny Depp can currently demand even more than that.
