Actress Lindsey Lohan is set to star as the wife of John Gotti Jr. in the film "Gotti: Three Generations"; however, she has to finish out her sentence for a probation violation before that can happen. Lohan began her 4 month jail sentence in her home, after a judge found her guilty of stealing a necklace from a store close to her home. The probation that the actress has violated stems from a drunken driving incident in 2007.
Lindsey Lohan pleaded no contest to misdemeanor grand theft, but did not have to serve additional jail time. She turned herself in, had no additional mug shots taken, and was released from custody after about an hour, wearing an ankle bracelet, which will remain in place for 35 days. According to the Associate Press, “The term is longer than the three weeks or less that Lohan would have spent in a solitary confinement unit at the jail.” Lohan did have to spend 14 days in a jail last summer after a probation violation.
