Reports on sales of luxury real estate heading upwardly is becoming a nationwide trend. In Denver, luxury housing is selling faster and sellers are getting a higher percent of their original asking prices.
Sales in the city of Denver jumped 33% in May compared to sales figures for the same time last year, according to a report by Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage, the Denver Post reports.
The momentum continues as sales in the month of April also increased 8.65% in a year-over-year analysis.
"Denver metro area's luxury housing market continues to gain momentum as the year moves along," said Chris Mygatt, president of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in Colorado. "Well-qualified buyers remain determined to purchase while prices are still attractive and mortgage rates still low."
