Easy come … easy go!
A man from the Philadelphia area received an online money transfer for more than $92 quadrillion, the Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
Delaware County resident Chris Reynolds, 56, of Media, Pennsylvania, believed that he owed the astronomical sum of money that was inadvertently transferred into his Pay Pal account last Friday. However, when Mr. Reynolds double-checked his account balance, it was back down to zero.
While the online payment service expanded its business beyond Earth with the launching of PayPal Galactic in June, the quadrillion-dollar error would be an anomaly regardless of its point of origin.
Mr. Reynolds, thw owner of a Philadelphia-based ad agency, AdInk, did have plans for the money, if it had remained in his account, which he shared with the Philadelphia Inquirer.
"I'm a very responsible guy," he said. "I would pay the national debt down first. Then I would buy the Phillies, if I could get a great price."
