Anyone in the mood for some Soci today?

Soci, Microsoft’s social network website, dubbed by pundits as the “social meets search site,” opened the website to the public this week. The early word in is that it is a “solid time-waster.”  But couldn’t the same be said about all social networks websites?   

Visitors can use their Facebook or Microsoft account info to log on to the site.  During the closed-beta-testing period for Soci, which began in May, only college students and employees of Microsoft could access it.
