Moonen Yachts made a splash in the yacht community with the unveiling of three scale models that represents future launches.
The Netherlands-based builder of super-size yachts is thinking small on size yet big on comfort, performance, and features with its trio of motor yachts that make up its Semi Series.
The company also recently launched the 138-foot Sophia, which is its largest superyacht to date, according to a story from the Robb Report.
Award-winning design firm Nick Mezas Design teamed with Moonen to produce the scale models for the forthcoming 59-foot Ibiza, 66-foot Menorca, and 79-foot Mallocra. The estimated prices of the three ships will be $3.4 million, $4.7 million, and $6 million, respectively. Sufficient space for three or four cabins in each ship will be available.
….The Ibiza is outfitted with a Volvo Penta IPS with a top speed of 18 knots, the Menocra with a MAN 788 hp with a top speed of 20 knots, and the Mallocra with a MAN 867kW with a top speed of 22 knots.
