Recently, the DailyLuxe posted about the first jetpack being readied for sale to the general public by mid-2014.
Gizmodo is reporting that Martin Aircraft, the New Zealand-based manufacturer of the Martin Jetpack, is now showing us a redesign of its innovative flying machine, the P12. The $200,000 jetpack is capable of accelerating up to 46 mph and flying for 30 minutes on a thankful of premium petroleum.
The company currently is accepting pre-orders with a deposit of $5,000 for the P12. However, the very first units available for sale will go to first responders to emergency situations, such as police and fire departments, to assist with field-testing the jetpacks to work out the kinks.
