While it is questionable whether this is a news story or a promotional piece with a byline in The Street, it is an interesting piece on how an entrepreneur opted to take a leap of faith, chug a well-paying job, and start her own business.
And so goes the story of how Love Tennis by Hazel was launched in May 2012 by Hazel Nussbaum. Ms. Nussbaum wanted to wear tennis-inspired jewelry that expressed her passion for the sport. Fifteen months later, she is launching her third product line, the London Collection. The items available include handmade tennis bracelets, necklaces, and earrings in silver and gold.
While this story may not prompt a roomful of people to sing in unison, “We are the world,” it does demonstrate how self-belief, determination, and the willingness to take a chance could lead to achieving success. That is good enough, isn’t it?
