Thieves with an eye for art are making news these days with alarming regularity. A painting by French artist Eugene Delacroix, valued at $780,000, has been reported stolen from an art gallery in Paris. The Arabs of Oran, a piece from the French Romantic movement of the 19th century, was reported missing by a worker at the gallery.
Delacroix, who lived from 1798 to 1863, was the most important member of the French Romantic movement.
