Sarah Palin rode into Washington D.C., bedecked in black leather jacket, helmet and jeans, to honor military veterans at the Rolling Thunder annual rally. Greeted by cheers from the crowd, yelling sentiments like “Sarah, we love you”, this appearance leads speculators to question whether Palin will be putting a hat back into the 2012 presidential race.
Palin’s star power was definitely the front runner at the rally, where she attended alongside husband Todd, and children Piper and Bristol. Though some of the riders and rally goers believed she was making the rally political rather than honoring the military veterans during Memorial Day. One of the riders, Richard Orndorff, of Winchester, Virginia, stated, "I don't think you should be using this to run for public office, this is to honor vets."
Sarah Palin is currently touring historical East Coast sites on a tour bus, in an effort to “educate Americans on the country’s founding principles."
