If you have ever run in a half- or a full marathon, you have got to click the heels of your sneakers toward Pamela Anderson for running in the New York City Marathon, on Sunday, without even training for it, the Business Insider reports.
While Pam's longest run prior to the event was only 12 miles, she somehow managed to run the full 26.2 miles in five hours and 41 minutes. Her brother, Gerry, ran alongside Ms. Anderson from the start to the finish line.
This is no small feat for the agony that her feet endured, as she helped her team raise $289,767 on Crowdsource for Sean Penn’s J/P Haitian Relief Organization.
Wham bam … thank you, Pam! Way to go, girl!
“I really haven’t attacked the running thing,” she admitted to [the] NY Daily News six weeks before the marathon. “I’ve never been a runner. I’ve never even run across the street hardly before.”
