Pope Benedict XVI, who has at least 2.3 million followers on Twitter  tweeted on his personal account today, according to a report from USA Today. 

The Christmas Day tweet was in response to a query about his favorite Christmas tradition during the Christmas season. The pope reminisced over  a homemade nativity scene that his family built together.       

 "The cribs that we built in our home gave me much pleasure. We added figures each year and used moss for decoration."
