Romney Reimagined -

Mitt Romney is on the path to changing his image. Over the last several years, his image of vacillator has become widely known and is the subject of ridicule based on issues and opinion over abortion, gun control and gay rights. Romney’s ability to keep an opinion on one side of the fence has become the forefront of the conversation in the health care issue, as he signed in health care reform in his state of Massachusetts, but does not back President Obama’s health care bill.

Now Mitt Romney is heading up a campaign to change his image to one of authenticity, rather than fence-riding senator, to aid in his bid for the 2012 presidency. One major point Romney is highlighting in this reimaging is that he has a core. Not holding a true stance on major issues is the biggest hindrance in his upcoming campaign trail. Voters want a candidate they can stand behind on issues, and Mitt Romney’s dot on the map of where to stand seems to be on a slippery slope. Romney started his new image front at the University of Michigan's Cardiovascular Center, where he spoke about the health care plan that he approved in Massachusetts, but made abundantly clear was not right for the nation.
