After coming under much scrutiny and a copyright infringement lawsuit, Samsung has asked Apple to allow them to see the plans for the next gen iPad and iPhones. A motion filed on Friday with the U.S. District Court in San Jose, asks for Apple to come forward with samples of "final, commercial version(s)" of the iPhone and iPad. In addition, Samsung seeks to see the retail packaging the Apple products will come in. These requests are not seeking to see anything that has been produced or announced yet. The items named in the motion are listed as the "iPhone 4S," "iPhone 5," "iPad 3," and "third generation iPad."

Samsung is currently being asked to produce their “final production samples” to Apple of their smart phones and tablets, in an attempt to prove that Samsung stole their intellectual property. Apple’s current lawsuit against Samsung claims that they “copied Apple's mobile devices both in terms of user interface and design features.” Apple is also stating that Samsung “infringed on Apple's patents, and resulted in Samsung practicing unfair competition.”
