Do you like Apples? Well, if you do than the second most popular mobile device in the U.S. market is your favorite, as Samsung is the biggest seller in the U.S. market.
In reviewing an intelligence report on smartphones, The Next Web reports that a survey in from comScore.com on mobile subscribers states that Samsung is the top U.S. mobile device maker with 26.9 percent market share through November 2012. Apple, LG, Motorola, and HTC round out the top five. While Samsung and Apple have increased their market share, in this time frame, LG, Motorola, and HTC have dipped slightly.
These stats do shed some light on why these two companies keep attacking each other in court.
In fact, Samsung and Apple gained a combined 2.6 percentage points while the other three lost 1.9 percentage points together. This means that the duo are even stealing share from OEMs not in the top five.
