Sandy Aftermath Washes World War II Love Letters onto NJ Beach

Well, fathom this one for a moment, if you would.

Sometimes extraordinary happens in very unusual places and circumstances, such as on a beach the day after super-storm Sandy was there. A bundle of 57 love letters, tied by a pink ribbon, dated between 1942 and 1947, washed onto a NJ beach and were found the next day by a woman along the Henry Hudson Trail in New Jersey. What are the odds?  

{The finder of the letters] was determined to reunite the letters with their owners. She posted about the letters on Facebook, Craigslist and eventually did a search on findagrave.com, where a Lynn Farnham was listed who died in 1992 and was buried in New Jersey.
